Will cracking the UFO secret ignite another American revolution?


A Citizens Hearing on UFO Disclosure held in Washington, D.C. on April 29-May 3, 2013, presented compelling evidence that something strange is going on in the air space all over the world and accused governments of knowing about it and keeping it from the public. The hearing’s purpose was to bring attention to this and lay the foundation for continued dialogue.

According to the citizenhearing.org website,



“The Citizens Hearing on Disclosure set out to accomplish what the U. S. Congress had failed to do for forty-five years--seek out the facts surrounding the most important issue of this or any other time--evidence pointing toward an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.”



Cracking of the secrets surrounding Unidentified Flying Objects will certainly reveal if what we are seeing is us or “them.” But if it is “them,” what will this mean for the record books of American and global history and the way forward for our country and the world?


Such is the volatile subject of UFO Disclosure which will answer the age-old question, are we alone in the universe? American voters ever seek for positive change in each election, but if the witnesses at this hearing are correct, another kind of unelectable, critical change may be closer at hand and waiting in the wings with the potential of sparking a revolution of unknown consequences.


Five retired U.S. Congress members and one retired Senator presided over the Citizens Hearing on UFO Disclosure which was modelled upon an official Congressional hearing. It lasted 5 days with 30 hours of testimony. Forty witnesses came from 10 countries to tell what they know about Unidentified Flying Objects and alleged alien activities. These witnesses included military personnel, pilots, medical doctors, UFO researchers, and government officials.


Testimony included stories about classified and unavailable military health records of men who had investigated a landed UFO, pilots firing upon unidentified crafts, UFOs shutting down missile installations, implants removed from peoples’ bodies, apparent harvesting of specimens during animal mutilations, and reports of crashed crafts carrying extraterrestrial beings which survived and were held by the military.


Stephen Bassett, the Executive Director of Paradigm Research Group and the Extraterrestrial Phenomena Political Action Committee (X-PPAC) was one of the key organizers of this Citizens Hearing on Disclosure. He is one of the leading advocates for ending the truth embargo on UFOs.

One of the witnesses who testified at the hearing, Author and Historian Richard Dolan, later commented on its impact:



“The Citizens Hearing will have a ripple effect for many years. Although there was limited attention by the mainstream media, it is having a large impact on those who are interested in this subject. Videos of the hearings have gone viral with a total of approx. 2 million hits in a month.


“That hearing provides a permanent foundation for people to refer to. What’s more, it was significant that all except one retired member of Congress came in with no prior knowledge of the subject, and all six came away convinced that the UFO topic is an important part of the political culture.”



Supposing for a moment that extraterrestrial beings are involved with this planet, what exactly will this mean for the history books? If this hidden aspect of history answers yes to the question of whether a non-human culture is monitoring, abducting, and influencing our day-to-day lives, certainly a giant step backward will be taken for a hard look at everything. For a time, confusion and panic will reign as we sort through history and ponder, did we do that or did “they?” Greater still, how will we handle human-to-alien contact and are we safe? Are “they” infiltrating our cultures even now and if so, what is the purpose of that?


These questions and more beg to be answered, yet according to the testimony of the witnesses at this hearing, our government is silent on the issue and maintains silence by threatening witnesses and establishing a policy of ridiculing experiencers as its main silencing tool. Mainstream media ignores the issue or falls in line with the policy of ridicule.


One conclusion is certain about the Citizens Hearing on UFO Disclosure: it will be a mistake to skirt around this issue based upon the credentials and credibility of witnesses who testified at this hearing. Those witnesses, as well as the retired members of Congress presiding over the hearing and the organizers, expressed hope that a new day has dawned when the subject of UFOs will be met with serious, cooperative public, scientific, governmental, and military scrutiny based upon a new attitude of openness to this potential planetary upheaval and what this means for us all.


Richard Dolan commented further on the implications of UFO disclosure:



“The end of UFO secrecy will happen. I cannot think of a single thing that has the potential for revolution than UFO secrecy, and when it’s out, everything is up for grabs. It will be greater than the 60s. Young people will be saying, we’re out, we’re done, and we are creating something different. This cultural shift will be resisted by some, but it will be a renaissance of culture and thought, a complete re-evaluation of 60-70 years of human history.”



Those testifying at the hearing included:
